On the one hand, it's very clear that Shino's turn got screwed up.

On the other, if you remember Shino's fight with Kankouro was also delayed, but he chased him down specifically, the guy has a way of remembering things and he doesn't like to be fooled or left behind, and worst of all counted out.

So I foresee him either doing something quite awesome the next chapter, or in the near future. He feels he needs to prove himself, but he doesn't do it like Naruto.

Although, I didn't know he was a question talker Hehehe...

I agree, I think we can see Shino going to another level to show off his stuff either by chasing down Tobi, by tracking him, or probably by trying to stop his departure.

If not, then count on Shino getting ready to do something awesome.

Also, this is actually, and characteristically of a story possible bad news for Shino.

Shino has always wanted to be one to prove his worth, and one to do his fair share of the powerhousing am I right?

If Tobi starts to leave Shino will definitely do everything he can to stop him. He needs an Akatsuki under his belt like Naruto is thought to have and even Sakura does.

And, if Tobi gets away, Shino will not forget and forgive himself for giving up his one chance to get one. He will then, despite his nature, probably do something on the rash side to try and get himself in the game with his comrades and this will lead to his downfall since he may just get beat, and he is just obscure enough to kill without causing the collapse of the series.

Plus, in stories like these, the character continously left out like Shino do usually die trying to give them all they got. And who knows? Maybe Shino will do some real damage? But look at Deathnote.

	Mello was left out of the big games after he missed his shot with Kira so he went rash and did what he had too and got himself killed

In Bleach to prove Ishida was useful to the team and to try and help his comrades Ishida through away his powers. And it just makes sense that is how he would go. Think about it Shino from day one has been thought of as a freak, even when he showed off his powers and beat Zetsu (I think it was) In the Chuunin Exam only Naruto thought that was cool everyone else thought he was a freak. Then to prove what he had to Sasuke he told him he'd take care of Kankouro and catch up with him for Gaara. Then when he saw he missed his chance with the Sound 5 he wanted to hear about it.

He has always had that in him, he wants to show people he isn't a freak but he's a powerful shinobi who cares about his friends, and he's just perfect to get killed off showing it.

That's my opinion on it.

Also, there isn't really alot you can do with bugs, at least not in this sense, eventually the ideas you can use on them get old, and so to fix it killing him off with one last magnificent move would make it not seem so bad.

But not against Tobi. Tobi is someone being built up alot in the series. Like Pein, he will probably kill someone important so to prove he is a tough nin.

All tough nin beat someone tough to prove they were tough.

Orochimaru - 3rd Hokage
Hidan And Kakuzu - Asuma
Sasori - Chiyo (3rd Kazekage)
Deidara - Beat Gaara
Sasuke - Itachi, Orochimaru
Itachi - The Uchiha Clan
Pein - Jiraiya
Tsunade - Orochimaru (not killed)
Kisame - Nearly got Asuma himself

Etc. And this is why we like it.

And so it'd make sense to build up his worth Tobi - Shino.

For sure that was no way due justice to Shino's fighting skills.
